HALDIMAND—With the holiday season behind us, Haldimand OPP provided some stats from their annual Festive RIDE program, designed to limit impaired driving.
“There was 41 RIDE checks done during the period of November 1, 2021 to January 3, 2022. The ride checks were spread out across the county,” said Constable Mary Gagliardi. Comparatively, Haldimand OPP conducted 64 RIDE checks between January 1 to October 31, 2021. The last Festive RIDE program only had 12 events.
