CAYUGA—On Saturday, November 8, 2019 the Optimist Club of Haldimand held its fourth annual Fun Bucket Auction. What an amazing success!
The evening started off with a bang with the handing out of cheques to Ruberu Tutoring and Camp Trillium. There was an invitation to support the Legion and before things got started a dry run of how the event unfolds.
This year was our biggest year ever, with 50 gifts being auctioned off. Not just any gifts mind you, every gift had a minimum value of $50 and most exceeded that by far. Some items were in the $250 to $350 range. We were very fortunate to have help from the community. This is the first year, and we hope many more, where every cent raised will be supporting our youth in our great County of Haldimand. Thank you to our sponsors, gift donors, the Cayuga Legion, the media, businesses that helped out, and of course to all of the important patrons of the event.
