Ontario’s Open for Business plan is one that will create jobs and economic prosperity in all types of communities.
Approximately 12.5% of jobs across Ontario are sustained by the agricultural and agri-food sectors. In Haldimand-Norfolk, the numbers are much higher, which contributes to the well-being of our local economy.
Good news for the riding has arrived just in time for Christmas. Haldimand County is receiving $20,000 in funding, through the Rural Economic Development Program, to develop an economic development and tourism strategy as a means to focus the county’s attraction of business investment.
