HALDIMAND—Cue the Charlie Brown skating music! Residents across Haldimand laced up their skates and hit the ice to enjoy one of their favourite pastimes over the holiday season and into the first weekend of the new year.
Hundreds of residents could be found at the Caledonia, Cayuga, Dunnville, and Hagersville arenas enjoying hockey or just the simple joy of a family free skate.

DUNNVILLE—Aly Carpenter shared precious time during her two-year-old daughter Adelaide’s first time ice skating. 
DUNNVILLE—Jimmy Richard of Dunnville took advantage of the free skate, doing a few laps around the arena. 
DUNNVILLE—Easton Alison, 4, took his dad, Andrew, out for a bit of exercise while at the free skate in Dunnville.
