Have Your Say: Back when teachers were teachers

To the Editors,

I, like many other seniors and parents, are sick of the teacher’s unions using teachers mini strikes as a political tool to try to destroy Doug Ford and the Tories.

I am a 76-year-old senior who went to a rural school in Rainham, along with about 35 other rural area children, where we attended a one-room classroom with one dedicated teacher teaching all eight grades.
