Have Your Say: Concern for cuts to healthcare

To the Editors,

I am not a supporter of Premier Ford and his government.

I was hopeful, but I was also fearful knowing what happened when Mike Harris was in power. I worked in healthcare during the Mike Harris days and I saw what happened to healthcare. I have worked through cuts to healthcare funding. It did not take long for Mr. Ford to lose my support. He is cutting funding for sedation when having a colonoscopy. Has he ever had a colonoscopy? Now there are to be cuts for vaccinations. Imagine, at a time when the measles outbreak is widespread! Now we hear of cuts to ambulance service.
