To the Editors,
A group of us regularly kayak on the Grand River. At times we kayak on our own. Other times we go out to collect garbage and monitor the well-being of the river.
I feel that we have a profound responsibility to protect and pass on a clean and healthy river to future generations.
I value the gift of the Grand River. It has nurtured communities and has shaped us in many ways.
In various contexts one often hears that water is alive and is a source of life.
