Have Your Say: Letter to MPP Toby Barrett on the environment, long term care

Dear Mr. Barrett,

I have known you since before you became our Member of Provincial Parliament. I have always liked you. However, I am totally puzzled by your lock-step support of Mr. Ford and his government.

Firstly, why would you not speak out against allowing environmental destruction of wetlands to permit developers to amass huge profits? (Pickering, so far.) [See Hamilton Spectator, November 21, 2020, page A17.]

Your father, Harry, was a well-known and highly respected naturalist in our area. How would he have felt about such actions?
