Have Your Say: Questioning the communication of pandemic plans from local government

To the Editors,

As a citizen of Haldimand County I, like others, have tried to read and learn as much as I can regarding the Coronavirus, COVID-19, etc.

However, since the pandemic was declared on March 17, I have tried to access information regarding federal and provincial laws, policies, etc., and this has proven to be very frustrating because I have wanted to know what exactly the government is doing each and every day to make us safe.

Two weeks ago I saw a document on the Haldimand Norfolk Health Unit website called The Haldimand Norfolk Health Unit Influenza Pandemic Plan. This was published in 2010.
