Norfolk Mayor, Kristal Chopp was in her glory, along with Haldimand Mayor Ken Hewitt, when they were grandstanding for the media on CHCH, posing for haircuts and talking to the papers telling how they were handling the COVID-19 virus by shutting down parks and beach property with enforcement officers handing out fines to those who dared to go for a stroll in their forbidden areas. Mayor Chopp even had CHCH interview her in Port Dover, in view of Tim Hortons, where she condemned the bikers and customers who were leisurely talking among themselves. She stated that these outsiders would spread the virus in her county and Mayor Hewitt even considered trying to have people from the GTA banned from Haldimand for the same reason.
