DUNNVILLE—The following is an update from the Haldimand War Memorial Hospital (HWMH) on April 8, 2020.
OUTPATIENT PROCEDURES
While all outpatient endoscopy procedures had been cancelled at the hospital a few weeks ago, colonoscopies are now being conducted on some Saturdays in the Operating Room (OR) for people who urgently need them. Patients come directly to the OR through a dedicated entrance and must pass screening prior to their procedures. Additional infection control measures have been put in place, such as increasing space between each patient’s visit.
