JARVIS—In celebration of Arbour week, Hydro One took the time to educate Grades 1 to 3 students at Jarvis Community Christian School about the importance of trees to our ecosystem, managing vegetation in and around hydro lines, and safety around large equipment. Dan Meyer of Caledonia Hydro One Forestry Utility Arborist said, “We really enjoyed Arbour Day. All the kids were very engaged and had lots of questions. It was great to be back teaching the kids after postponing the event the last two years.”

At the end of their presentation Logan Stoepker, Jordan Crawford, and Dan Meyer (shown above) helped students to plant two trees and sent students home with a seedling tree to plant at home.
