IESO offering new grants to Ontario greenhouses looking to save on their energy bill

HALDIMAND—The Independent Electricity System Operator (IESO), the Crown corporation responsible for handling the electricity market and overseeing the operation of Ontario’s bulk electrical system, is offering a grant to greenhouse owners willing to upgrade their facilities.

There are two options available to grant seekers. IESO is offering both Prescriptive and Custom Track applications. The Prescriptive path is designed for those looking for quick system upgrades based on a set amount and a quick turnaround. The Custom path is for business owners looking to complete more comprehensive projects.
