JARVIS—A barn on Concession Road 3 in Jarvis was destroyed in a fire on Sunday, May 9, 2021.
“My husband and I saw light, white smoke from the next road over and went to check it out as everyone in our area commonly has a burn of some sort. Upon arrival we quickly realized this isn’t a regular bonfire – it is much more!” said local resident Tiara Shurr. “I quickly started to call 911 and my husband ran up to the door of the house to alert the homeowners that their barn was on fire as they were unaware. Thankfully everyone was accounted for.”
