
JARVIS—The Jarvis Knitting Social Club met at the Jarvis Public Library on the patio on Saturday, June 8, 2019 to celebrate World Wide Knit in Public Day. This is the Jarvis Knitting Social Club’s third year participating in World Wide Knit in Public Day.
Every year since 2005, groups from around the world have met to share their love of knitting on the second Saturday in June. Thirty-three countries participated this year, consisting of 440 groups according to the World Wide Knit in Public Day website, wwkipday.com. World Wide Knit in Public Day is the largest knitter-run event in the world.
