Jarvis launching new summer festival

JARVIS—Jarvis will once again be a destination during the summer festival season as the inaugural JarvisFest takes place August 19 to 21, 2022 at the Jarvis Lions Park.

The idea for this new event came as Committee Chairman Richard Moorse and his wife were visiting Saskatoon and attended a Rib Fest. They were notably impressed and thought, “Maybe we could do this in Jarvis.” It’s been many years since Cornfest has been held and Moorse believes, “Now is the time to return to having a festival in Jarvis.”
