JARVIS—On Saturday, November 30, 2024 the Jarvis Lions collected food from the residences of Jarvis for the Jarvis Caring Cupboard. The Lions were really heartened to have such an incredible response to the request for help for the less fortunate through food donations. It is believed that this was one of the best responses ever. The food bank has seen a dramatic increase in the number of clients, resulting in the need during this economic time being greater than ever. The Lions also donated $700 to the food bank to help their much-needed service to our community. The Lions would like to thank all who so generously responded to this request for help in the yuletide season. Thank you Jarvis!          —Submitted photo.
