JARVIS/HAGERSVILLE — Eighteen-year-old Noella Michaud of Jarvis was one of 34 young people in southwestern Ontario to be awarded a 2021 Libro Scholarship.
“My family has lived in Jarvis ever since I was born, and I am proud to be an active community member in Haldimand County. As an active community member, I have participated in several volunteer and extracurricular activities,” said Michaud. Those activities have included several sports teams, Students Council and Students Senate, and volunteering for a Guatemala Mission Encounter and at the Simcoe County fair. Additionally, she has worked for her family’s business, Michaud Toys, and is currently working for Haldimand County as an Inclusion Counselor at Camp Haldifun.
