JARVIS—Yard sale season is a much-anticipated opportunity to hunt for bargains and discover a treasure or two. It has also become a means of fundraising that brings people together in support of a worthy cause. On June 25, the Walpole Antique Farm Machinery Association in Jarvis will be the site of such an event as a Jarvis couple is organizing a yard sale to help send a 16-year-old athlete to the 10th World Down Syndrome Swimming Championships in Portugal this fall.
