JarvisFest brings good eats and good fun for all
JARVIS—The tradition of August family fun continued with JarvisFest from August 16 to 18, 2024.
Though the skies were not always friendly, the atmosphere was festive as visitors enjoyed a variety of entertainment and a delicious assortment of “carnival eats” and local craft drinks.

JARVIS—Making it all happen were the volunteers, which included (l-r) Isabella McKeen, Payton Towers, and Adam Chambers, who dedicated their time and talents to organize and implement this popular community festival. JARVIS—Haldimand 4-H Miniature Horse Club member Brandon Hussack and Cally were dressed as a hockey player and referee for the 17 and under costume class. JARVIS—The South Coast Miniature Horse Connection show returned to JarvisFest on August 17. members Brandon and Ryder Hussack were ready for the 17 and under costume class. JARVIS – The 2024-25 Caledonia Fair Ambassador is Jarvis’ own Jada Dawson; see her at the Caledonia Fair this September. JARVIS—From politicians and marching pipers, to fire trucks and horses, there was much to see in the JarvisFest parade on August 17. JARVIS—Members of the OPP and OPP Auxiliary, including Auxiliary Staff Sergeant Garry Bartlett, Auxiliary Unit Commander Staff Sergeant Chris Dennis, OPP Constable (Media Relations) Patti Cote, and OPP Cadet Kendra Van Groningen, greeted the public during JarvisFest with a 1989 cruiser. JARVIS—Among those waiting for the JarvisFest parade floats to arrive were (l-r) Amelia Michaud, 14, Jonah Michaud, 12, Quinnton Van Groningen, 5, Laura Van Groningen, Rowan Van Groningen, 3, and Carol Smuck.
