JARVIS—The last day of classes for Jarvis Community Christian School students was Monday, June 19, 2023 and preparations were made for construction to start immediately on the school’s expansion. The school’s leadership held a groundbreaking ceremony with addresses from the chair of the board, Duncan Stewart; Principal Chad Haverkamp; Mayor of Haldimand County, Shelley Ann Bentley; Chair of the Future Capital Committee Nick Lenos and Aaron Miedema. The end of the event saw four generations JCCS students complete the groundbreaking; shown at left is Annie, Ray, Aaron, and Josie Vandermolen.
