HALDIMAND—Jill Halyk has announced her retirement from the Executive Director position at the Workforce Planning Board of Grand Erie (WPBGE) after 17 years. Halyk made the announcement on January 7, 2019 and will be retiring at the end of June.

“My experience over the past 17 years has been phenomenal. I’ve had the unique opportunity to learn about the unique needs of our communities and work with tremendous people on developing workforce solutions that help employers and job seekers,” said Halyk.

“I am leaving my career with the knowledge that I may have, in some small way, helped members of the community decide on a career, advance their education, or land a great job,” she continued.
