DUNNVILLE—Julia’s Old Fashioned Christmas Charity, a thrift store previously located on Broad Street in Dunnville, celebrated its grand opening at its new location on December 5, 2022. The charity has taken over the old Salvation Army building at the corner of Bridge Street and Queen Street in Dunnville. The significantly larger space is expected to allow the charity to grow and to offer new services in the future. Above, (l-r) owner Julie Marchese helps cut the ribbon alongside MPP Bobbi Ann Brady, Mayor Shelley Ann Bentley, Lion Wray McLean, and Councillor Patrick O’Neill. Below, Marchese accepts a $500 cheque from the Dunnville Lions to support their community endeavours. Shown is Marchese with McLean and O’Neill.
