HALDIMAND—The Hagersville Hawks continued their winning streak for the seventh game in a row against the Niagara RiverHawks on Saturday, January 12, 2019. Peter Cappucci opened the scoring at 3:32 into the first for the Hawks. Niagara answered back four minutes later.

At 17:29 in the first, Ralph Taggart took the lead back for the Hawks and with five seconds left in the period he scored again. Between Taggart’s two goals, the Hawks had three shorthanded goals from Matt Weston, Nick Visser, and Tycie Cowan for an outstanding five goals in less than 2.5 minutes to bring their lead of 6-1 heading into the second.

Visser and Weston each found the net for a second time in the second period.
