The Corvairs continued their successful streak with a 5-2 win against Thorold on January 9, 2020. The game began with three goals by Caledonia’s Dylan D’Agostino, Tanner Brennecke, and Nick Giunta. Thorold couldn’t match this effort, only scoring one goal within the first period. Within the second period Caledonia’s Ryan Littlejohn scored while short-handed. Thorold quickly followed this with a goal of their own, but their attempts to tie the game failed as Giunta secured the final goal of the game in the third period. Aiden Hughes was in net and saved a total of 23 shots out of 25.
