Hagersville Hawks

The Hagersville Hawks got off to a good start against the Niagara RiverHawks on November 2, 2019 with two goals in the first. Sebastian Loreti scored first unassisted, followed by Ralph Taggart. Niagara managed to get within one in the second, and tied it up early in the third. Tycie Cowan managed to give Hagersville the lead once more and they held on until the buzzer rang for a 3-2 victory. All but the first goal were scored on the powerplay. Avery Hartwick made 34 saves in net for the Hawks.
The following day, things started slow against Port Dover with no scoring in the first. Jayden Lammel opened the scoring 17 seconds into the second for Hagersville. Alastair Irvine added to their lead, but Port Dover scored twice to even it up that period. Hagersville found its footing in the third again with goals from Peter Cappucci, Matt Weston, and Patrick Sanelli for the 5-2 win. Jamie Ferguson made 20 saves in net for Hagersville.
Hagersville hosted Grimsby November 5 after press time. Next, they host the Dunnville Mudcats November 9 at 7:30 p.m. and then head to Hespeler November 10.
