The Hagersville Hawks started their November 22, 2019 game against Grimsby with a goal in the first period by Tycie Cowan. Grimsby got the lead at the beginning of the second with two goals, but Matt Weston managed to secure a tie by the end of the period. Grimsby scored on the power play in the third, but Patrick Sanelli found the back of the net unassisted, finishing the third period in a tie. The Hawks won in overtime thanks to Sanelli. Jamie Ferguson was in net and made 25 saves on 28 shots.
Next, Hagersville hosts Hespeler Shamrocks on November 30 at 7:30 p.m. and heads to Glanbrook December 4.
