Knights of Columbus makes donation to Coats for Kids
HAGERSVILLE—The Knights of Columbus (KofC) Fr. Wm. Fitzgerald Council 6091, Hagersville/Walpole are spreading the warmth to children this winter by donating 24 coats from the KofC Coats for Kids program to the Children’s Aid Society of Haldimand and Norfolk (CAS-HN). The Coats for Kids program’s website states its goal is to “provide a warm jacket to every school child who doesn’t have one in Ontario.” The program started a few years ago in Hamilton, distributing a few dozen coats. This year, Coats for Kids hopes to be able to distribute 10,000 coats to kids in need. For more information or to support Coats for Kids, please call Greg at 905-768-3649 or Lionel at 905-870-4874 or email lgrr.KOC@gmail.com. Donations are tax deductible.
