The Haldimand Press’ first ever Best of the Best reader awards is coming to a close, with voting ending on July 4, 2021.
We have 15 categories this year as we wanted to start with a managable size. Which boy, am I glad we did. Hundreds of nominations came in over the two week period, putting forward the names of 109 businesses and organizations. Since voting began in mid-June, we’ve seen thousands of votes.
It’s been incredible to see the support for all of these local businesses and everything they do for our community, because that’s ultimately why we started this whole process.
Businesses and non-profits alike have faced significant struggles over the past year and a half as we’ve battled through COVID-19 and its fallout.
As the light shines brighter and brighter at the end of this long tunnel, we thought it would be a great time to give people a little boost. We hope every business and non- profit nominated recognizes that they are appreciated by their community.
