Battlefield International Inc. follows the Canadian Government’s rules regarding trade. We will never agree to adding rules mandated by any special interest group. Battlefield will never follow the coercion of any Palestinian, Israeli or any other organization.
To date, we have had only one outside interest group demanding change be applied in our history, and this is it. You felt we warranted a second time. We have not sent any weapons nor weapon parts to Israel and to back that up, nothing sold to Israel by us has ever been considered ITAR Controlled Goods, nor even rose to the entry level defense use of “Dual Use” by all three parties, (Canada Customs, Battlefield International Inc., nor our Israel-located customer). Last year we shipped 00.4% (point 4 percent) of our sales to Israel and before this second protest was set up, we had told the protestors leadership that since their last protest, no parts were shipped by us to Israel.
When considering the resources this one group of protestors spent towards the good people of Cayuga at our facility, I would like to remind everyone protesting that we have not yet stopped grieving the October 7, 2023 attacks in Israel. We are mindful of all of our Canadian Jewish friends in this landscape that includes country wide organized efforts that could cause concern to Israel and the good people in Canada who consider Israel home. We are mindful and heartbroken after the terrorist event that was October 7, 2023 and we also wish well to people of all faiths, including Jewish, Muslim, Christian and all others that don’t require changes to our shared country of Canada that we love.
We hope we can maintain the freedoms that we all enjoy here in the best country tucked up against the shores of Lake Ontario (located somewhere near lake America… or was it lake Wobegon?).
