Note: The Ministry of Education announced on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 after press time that Haldimand Norfolk schools will resume in person learning on Monday, February 8. Toronto, Peel, and York schools are the only districts to remain closed at that time, set to open February 16.

HALDIMAND—As it stands, the students of Haldimand County are now over one month into their second online learning experience caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Kimberly Newhouse, Manager of Communications and Community Relations for the Grand Erie District School Board (GEDSB), spoke about how remote learning has progressed since the first round of lockdowns last year.
