CAYUGA—The Haldimand Horticultural Society (HHS) and Dunnville Horticultural Society (DHS) joined on Monday, March 21, 2022 to raise the first flag on the new community flagpole at the Haldimand County Administration Building in Cayuga. The flag celebrates the Year of the Garden 2022, dedicated to honouring Canada’s rich garden heritage, including the 100th anniversary of the Canadian Nursery Landscape Association. The Canadian Garden Council invites Canadians “to connect with plants, their communities, and even themselves, one garden at a time.” To learn more, visit: yearofthegarden.ca.
