DUNNVILLE—Over the past year, four major renovation projects have been ongoing at Haldimand War Memorial Hospital in Dunnville.
First on the list is the addition of overhead sprinkler protection. A mandate from the Ontario Fire Marshal’s office indicated that all hospitals in the province need to have sprinklers installed in all areas by 2025. HWMH already had them installed in the patient areas and the cafeteria, but through a push that included work being completed on evenings and over weekends, the hospital is now 100% covered.
