HALDIMAND—Dr. Shanker Nesathurai has announced he is leaving his position as Haldimand Norfolk’s Medical Officer of Health as of May 21, 2021.
When asked about why he made this decision, Nesathurai responded, “Like every organization and institution it has transitions…. These next three months or so will be about working on some important things – the vaccination program; … migrant farm workers will be arriving so trying to maintain safety in these congregate settings; working on case and contact management. So I think it may seem like a good time for that transition.”
