CALEDONIA—Mohawk College will set up its mobile classroom at the Haldimand County Caledonia Centre (HCCC) this summer to offer pre-apprenticeship training programs in 2019. Emily Ecker, Associate Dean of Community Partnerships and Learning at Mohawk College, said the program meets the College’s vision to bring post-secondary education to all.
“We are committed to strengthening our partnership with Haldimand County and sharing our vision of access to college-level training at no cost and within reach of students of all ages,” said Ecker at a Council meeting on April 16, 2019.
Beginning in June and running through September, the intensive pre-apprenticeship training program (IPAT) is a free 12-week program that prepares students with three learning modules.
