HALDIMAND—Haldimand Norfolk MP Diane Finley is ready to continue serving her riding in the upcoming federal election.
Hailing from Simcoe, Finley has served as the MP for the region since 2004, including 10 years as a cabinet member for former Prime Minister Stephen Harper. She caught the political bug at a young age and was involved in many grassroots campaigns across all levels of politics before she took office.
“Hard work, family, community, and personal freedoms have always been important to me. Add to that list compassion, smaller government, and helping others succeed, and you pretty much sum up what the Conservative Party values are,” states Finley. “For me, it’s a really good fit.”
Finley believes that the rising cost of living is a primary challenge facing the Haldi-mand Norfolk community in the coming years.
