MP Finley announces she will not run in the next federal election

HALDIMAND—“Representing the people of Haldimand Norfolk has been, absolutely, the greatest honour of my life. This opportunity has been very humbling, and I can’t thank the people of Haldimand Norfolk enough,” said MP Diane Finley, announcing August 17, 2020 that she will not be running in the next federal general election.

“Our Conservative team has been incredibly fortunate to benefit from Diane’s hard work, dedication, advice, and dry wit over the past 16 years,” said Conservative Leader Andrew Scheer. “I will always be grateful for her friendship and support throughout my leadership. Enjoy your retirement Diane – you’ve earned it!”
