HALDIMAND — Diane Finley, Member of Parliament for Haldimand Norfolk, expressed deep concerns about the federal government’s recent budget, its first in two years.

“I’m disappointed in Justin Trudeau’s 2021 budget because, in many ways, it lets down Haldimand Norfolk,” said Finley. “Unemployed Canadians hoping to see a plan to create new jobs, workers who have had their wages cut and hours slashed hoping to see a plan to reopen the economy, and families were looking for a framework that would lead to future prosperity. Unfortunately, that’s not what we saw in this budget.”
