Museums using new funding to hire youth worker

HALDIMAND—Haldimand Museums is using a $9,745.12 Young Canada Works (YCW) grant to hire an Educational Content Developer. The position will be geared toward implementing new digital educational and special interest programming for a multigenerational audience.

YCW provides funding for employers to create new summer jobs for students or internships for graduates. Through those jobs, young people can begin to acquire skills and workplace experience in the cultural and heritage sector.
