SELKIRK—On Sunday, August 4, 2024, a newly formed band, “Rainham Road,” put on their inaugural concert. A great afternoon setting on a hot day under the pavilion and shade trees on the grounds of Cottonwood Mansion was enjoyed by many. Under the direction of Greg Awde, the group played and sang many crowd favourites. Included are musicians Greg Awde, Al Newhouse, Kris Kerfont, Mark Benner, Don Elfner, Bill Curran, along with singers Daphne Bassindale, Sandra Roth, and Barb Hoskin.
