HAGERSVILLE—A five-storey residential condominium building with 77 units is planned for a vacant piece of land adjacent to Grant Kett Memorial Park at 64 Main St. N., Hagersville.
Shannon VanDalen, Manager of Planning and Development at Haldimand County, noted during last week’s Council session that the property is currently designated Community Commercial. Council voted unanimously to approve the rezoning required.
The new building would face towards the southeast side of Main Street, with a reduced sized parking lot utilizing the land at the rear side of the property. Landscaping features would be implemented to create a layer of privacy between the parking lot and the street.
