JARVIS—Travellers heading north through Jarvis this summer may have noticed a larger-than-life depiction of a “charging steed” amongst corn husks with the Lancaster bomber overhead, images that reflect the history of the community and are intended to inspire all who pass by.

The Jarvis mural is a #WorkingTogetherMatters project undertaken by Nova Mutual Insurance and its broker partner, Haldimand Insurance Brokers. The collaborative effort began when Nova Mutual reached out to Chris and Heather Hibbs at Haldimand Insurance to propose the creative endeavour. Chris says, “There is a new strategy to uplift communities. Nova approached us and asked would we be interested in doing the mural. We said absolutely!”
