CALEDONIA—Construction on a Wendy’s fast food restaurant will begin this spring and Ward 3 Councillor Dan Lawrence is excited to see the empty lot at 289 Argyle Street South used.
“It’s nice to see the final empty lot developed and something new added to the retail landscape,” said Lawrence.
At the February 26, 2019 Council in Committee meeting, Council unanimously voted to remove the historic holding provision that had been on the vacant lot since 1989 and allow the mayor and clerk to authorize the site plan agreement.
