HALDIMAND—One staff member at Norview Lodge has tested positive for COVID-19.
The staff member is not working at the facility and is currently in self-isolation at home.
There are no residents currently sick with COVID-19. Residents are being self-isolated in their rooms, where they are also receiving all meals. Staff are wearing full personal protective equipment.
Health Unit staff have initiated a public health management plan. Visits to Norview will be on hold until the outbreak is over.
