HALDIMAND—The annual Festive RIDE campaign wrapped up on January 3, 2021 and saw approximately 590 motorists charged with alcohol or drug impaired driving, including 15 drivers in Haldimand.
The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) also issued more than 190 drivers with an immediate Warn Range Suspension on the roadside for registering a Blood Alcohol Concentration between 0.05 and 0.08.
Haldimand saw four drivers charged in this category during the campaign, which began on November 26, 2020.
