Arrested for impaired at local business

CALEDONIA—On December 13, 2021 at 9:39 p.m. Haldimand OPP responded to a traffic complaint in the parking lot of a local business in Caledonia.

As a result of the investigation, a 21-year-old of Six Nations of the Grand River First Nation was charged with the following:

Driving a motor vehicle while impaired;

  • Driving a motor vehicle with more than 80 milligrams of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood.

The driver’s licence was suspended for 90 days and the vehicle was impounded for seven days. The accused is to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cayuga at a later date to answer to the charges.
