CAYUGA—Haldimand OPP responded to an alarm on November 20, 2021 at 9:20 p.m. at a business on Highway 3 in Cayuga. Upon arrival, police discovered evidence that an attempt break and enter had occurred.
When the surveillance cameras were checked police observed a vehicle leaving the premises.
A motorist reported that there was a red vehicle with its doors open at the business and that there were two people wearing hoodies and masks near the front door. The business was closed at this time.
No entry was gained into the building however an attempt had been made as the front door had been damaged.
