CALEDONIA—On March 6, 2024, at approximately 5:25 p.m., Haldimand OPP received a report of an attempted theft of vehicle from an address on Caledonia Avenue, in Caledonia.
The investigation determined that an individual parked at a business in the area. The driver exited the vehicle, leaving it running while other occupants remained in the vehicle.
An unknown female opened the driver’s door and entered the vehicle however, quickly fled the area once realizing it was occupied.
The suspect is described to be a white female with blonde hair, approximately 5’6″, appeared to be 20-30 years of age, wearing a black coat.
The suspect left the area in a black Acura Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) with Ontario licence plate DAYZ 179 which was later determined to be stolen.
