Charges laid following investigation

HAGERSVILLE—Haldimand OPP has charged a 46-year-old of the Mississaugas of the New Credit First Nation following the investigation of a fatal collision that took place in September 2018.

OPP were called to a three-vehicle motor vehicle collision on Highway 6 between the 10th and 11th Concession at approximately 3 p.m. on Monday, September 3, 2018.

Police determined that a southbound SUV struck a southbound car then entered the northbound lanes where it collided with a northbound SUV. The driver of the northbound SUV, 33-year-old David Shaw of Hagersville, was pronounced dead at the scene.
