Collision investigation results in impaired driving charge

SOUTH CAYUGA—Haldimand OPP has charged a 31-year-old male with multiple offences including drinking and driving following a single motor collision in South Cayuga.

On Sunday, August 25, 2019 at 6:05 p.m., OPP, Haldimand County Fire Services and Haldimand County paramedics responded to Concession 3 Road and Kohler Road for a report of a single motor vehicle collision where it was reported a vehicle had collided into a utility pole, rolled onto its side, and was on fire.

The male driver was not injured as a result of the collision.
